The Exhibition showcased the best examples of the ASMA Members’ diverse artistic styles that masterfully illustrate the rich maritime heritage, beautiful coastlines, and waterways of our nation. Whilst emphasising the continuation of and dedication to the Marine Art tradition, the Exhibition theme ‘Marine Art Today’ also highlights the relevance of this specialised artistic genre in the contemporary context. The ASMA artistic expression celebrates the finest examples of marine art in Australia, all of which will be for sale.

Official opening

The Exhibition was opened by Kevin Sumption, Director of the Australian National Maritime Museum.
